Job summary

AECOM in Perth seeks an experienced hydraulic engineer to lead the design and technical review of stormwater and drainage across major projects. You will deliver practical, buildable outcomes and mentor a team of engineers.

You will engage with clients on flood risk, network performance and project delivery while contributing to growth in Western Australia. Perth relocation support is available, reflecting the region’s dynamic infrastructure market.

Qualifications

15+ years of post-graduate experience in civil/hydraulic engineering.
Experience planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater networks.
Strong capability in underground and surface drainage hydraulics.
Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in a consulting environment.
Ability to provide technical leadership, design review and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Lead hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage for major projects.
Provide technical leadership in pit and pipe drainage networks and related systems.
Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and integrate results into design.
Review and approve calculations, models and drawings.
Advise on flood risk, drainage strategy, and resilience.
Support from planning to construction delivery and client engagement.
