AECOM in Australia is seeking an Associate Director - Electrical Engineer to lead the medium-voltage electrical design for utility-scale wind, solar, BESS and hybrid projects. You will own the design from inverter/turbine terminals through collector networks and substations to the grid connection.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and deliver practical, coordinated designs from feasibility to commissioning.

Formación

• 12+ years designing and leading medium-voltage electrical systems (11 kV–33 kV).
• Experience across concept, preliminary and detailed design stages.
• Ability to deliver practical, coordinated electrical designs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead MV electrical design for collector networks, substations and grid interfaces.
• Develop design bases, single-line diagrams and equipment ratings.
• Build and review PowerFactory models; conduct load-flow and short-circuit studies.
• Coordinate protection, control philosophies and relay requirements.
• Mentor engineers and support procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective and deliverable design packages.
