Job summary

Westpac Group in Perth is seeking an Associate Director, Relationship Manager for Mining & Metals to lead and grow a portfolio of mining sector clients, from gold to lithium. You will act as a trusted adviser, delivering tailored banking solutions and coordinating with specialists across lending, markets, sustainability, and risk.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a portfolio of customers within mining, natural resources, mining services, energy or related sector.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, particularly across gold, rare earths, lithium, base metals or broader resources industries.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders, including executive-level clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of mining and mining services customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business, priorities and market dynamics to tailor banking solutions.
• Collaborate with lending, debt products, financial markets, sustainability and risk teams to deliver client solutions.
