Aurizn is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to support Defence projects. You will be empowered to influence how engineering is planned, executed, and delivered, with responsibilities spanning lifecycle processes, requirements, risk and interface management, and verification planning.

The role requires an undergraduate engineering degree, NV1 security clearance eligibility, and strong analytical, communication and collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate engineering degree is required.
• NV1 security clearance eligibility is required.
• Previous experience in a systems engineering role is preferred.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the application of systems engineering lifecycle processes across Defence programs and projects.
• Conduct requirements analysis and management activities.
• Manage customer needs, technical risks, security and safety considerations.
• Assist with system design, modelling, analysis and interface definition activities.
• Plan and support system verification, validation, test and evaluation activities.
• Develop, review and maintain systems engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
