Job summary

Aurizn is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to translate warfighting needs into credible, technically grounded, and commercially viable solutions. You will work across Capability, Business Development and technical teams to shape solution concepts and guide investment strategies that support Defence outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in solution architecture, mission engineering, and systems engineering.
• Understanding Defence Capability Lifecycle across stages.
• Able to translate complex operational challenges into practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Experience in Defence or Defence industry environments.
• Collaborative, curious and aligned with Aurizn values.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer warfighting requirements into innovative solution concepts aligned with Aurizn’s capabilities.
• Conduct operational analysis and mission engineering to identify capability gaps and evaluate outcomes.
• Develop and refine coherent solution architectures using systems engineering and architecting principles.
• Assess emerging Defence technologies, trends and threat environments to keep solutions future-focused.
• Evaluate Aurizn’s capabilities and external technologies to address capability gaps.
• Recommend capability development strategies through investments, partnerships or collaborations.
• Provide technical and architectural expertise to support business cases, proposals and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Capability teams to shape opportunities and strategies.
