JMES (Jon Michel Executive Search) is assisting a leading Australian energy infrastructure organisation to recruit a Corporate Finance Associate. You will perform financial analysis and modelling to support investment evaluation and decision making.

• Prepare financial analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario modelling to assess financial impacts of investment options and support broader internal decision making
• Develop, maintain, and update financial models including Corporate Valuation Model
• Support preparation of investment memoranda and decision papers, conducting financial due diligence, completing analysis on capital requirements and funding options, and supporting post-investment review
• Provide support to Directors and broader team as required

This is not a traditional corporate finance role. You'll work at the front end of major infrastructure investments and growth initiatives, partnering with project, commercial and executive teams to shape investment decisions before projects are approved and delivered. With exposure to a consistent pipeline of strategic growth opportunities, you'll help determine where capital is deployed and how value is created.

The Corporate Finance Associate is involved in financial analysis and modelling to support investment evaluation, valuation outcomes, and corporate finance decision making.

• Prepare financial analysis, sensitivity testing, and scenario modelling to assess financial impacts of investment options and support broader internal decision making
• Develop, maintain, and update financial models including Corporate Valuation Model
• Support preparation of investment memoranda and decision papers, conducting financial due diligence, completing analysis on capital requirements and funding options, and supporting post-investment review
• Provide support to Directors and broader team as required

You'll likely have ~1.5-4 years of experience within project finance, Big 4 advisory (valuations, modelling, debt advisory, lead advisory), investment banking/ corporate advisory, corporate finance or corporate development within an energy/ infrastructure organisation.
