Job summary

Korn Ferry Group is seeking an Associate Consultant – Assessment & Succession in Sydney. You will contribute to competency-based interviews, psychometric administration and data-driven client insights across talent and succession projects.

You will translate data into practical recommendations, build client deliverables and support broader leadership development solutions, while collaborating with senior consultants and across Korn Ferry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, organisational psychology, HR, business, data analytics or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in assessment, talent, succession, organisational psychology, human capital consulting or related.
• Strong analytical capability with both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to produce clear client deliverables.
• AI fluency with use of approved AI tools to support research and analysis.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Effective project management and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support competency-based interviews and simulation-based assessments with senior colleagues.
• Administer, score and interpret approved psychometric tools per accreditation requirements.
• Integrate interview, simulation and psychometric data to draft evidence-based assessment reports.
• Analyse data to identify patterns and create visuals supporting talent decisions.
• Develop assessment materials and client deliverables (interview guides, reports, briefs, analytics).
• Support leadership development solution design and delivery with prep materials and pre/post-work.
• Contribute to cross-practice collaboration to connect client needs with capabilities.
• Provide feedback on tools and assessments within accreditation scope.
• Manage small assessment workstreams with planning, inputs and risk escalation.
• Collaborate on client proposals via research and case studies.
