Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture and registration as an Architect (or eligibility for registration in Australia).
• Experience leading the delivery of complex architectural projects in the Australian market.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating consultants across stages.
• Ability to balance design quality, technical excellence and commercial outcomes.
• Experience managing programmes, resources, budgets and client expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with clients and senior project stakeholders.
• Collaborative leadership with mentoring and inspiring others.
• Commercial awareness and long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-enabled project delivery.
• Passion for sustainable, innovative and people-centred design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex architectural projects or significant workstreams from concept to completion.
• Inspire design excellence by balancing creativity, sustainability, technical rigour and commercial outcomes.
• Lead multidisciplinary consultant teams while managing scope, programme, resources, budgets and risk.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to winning new work through client engagement, proposals and presentations.
• Lead, mentor and develop architects and emerging designers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and sustainable design practices across projects and teams.
• Embodies Hassell's values by collaborating across disciplines and exploring new possibilities.
