Job summary

Advance Recruitment Partners in Brisbane is seeking an Associate Adviser to support the principal adviser and grow with a small, dedicated team. The role focuses on technical adviser support and proactive client engagement within a boutique practice that serves pre-retirees, retirees and growing younger clients.

You will contribute to the advice process, assist with meetings, and help implement practical financial strategies across superannuation, retirement planning, cash flow and Centrelink.

Qualifications

• Around two to three years' relevant experience within financial advice.
• Working knowledge of Xplan and modelling tools including WealthSolver.
• Understanding of superannuation, retirement strategies and Centrelink.
• Experience preparing advice requests, reviewing documents and maintaining client records.
• Confident in client meetings and clear communication with clients.
• Proactive, organised with attention to detail and able to work independently.
• Willingness to offer ideas and challenge existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Help principal adviser prepare for client meetings and develop advice.
• Gather and check client information for a complete client picture.
• Attend meetings, prepare file notes and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Perform calculations and financial modelling, including Centrelink outcomes.
• Prepare Records of Advice and Statements of Advice requests.
• Review SOAs prepared by external paraplanners.
• Act as an additional client contact and suggest process improvements.
