Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is partnering with an established Melbourne wealth management business to recruit an Associate Financial Adviser. The role offers hands-on client exposure, mentoring from Senior Advisers and a clear pathway into a Financial Adviser position.

You will support with strategic financial advice, research and documentation, and work closely with paraplanning and client service teams to deliver high-quality guidance to a sophisticated client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning, ideally as an Associate Adviser or Adviser Support.
• Relevant financial planning qualifications and working towards Adviser education.
• Strong understanding of financial planning strategies and the advice process.
• Excellent communication skills and client confidence; eager to progress.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Advisers in developing and delivering strategic financial advice.
• Attend client meetings and assist with preparation, follow-up and implementation.
• Assist with strategies across investments, superannuation, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, insurance and estate planning.
• Undertake research, modelling and analysis to support advice recommendations.
• Work closely with paraplanning and client service teams throughout the advice process.
• Build client relationships and progressively take greater ownership of client interactions.
• Maintain high standards of advice documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior Advisers in developing and delivering strategic financial advice.

• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with clients.
• Ambitious and genuinely looking to progress into a Financial Adviser position.
