Job summary

9B Careers is working with an established Cambridge practice, seeking an Associate Architect to take a senior leadership role. You will lead and deliver projects, coordinating clients, design teams and consultants, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business growth.

The role requires a qualified Architect with substantial UK project experience and a proven ability to run complex projects, with strong RevIT and design delivery skills.

9B Careers is working with an established architectural practice in Cambridge, looking for an experienced Associate Architect to take a senior role within the practice.

You’ll have significant responsibility for the leadership and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, design teams and consultants. The role offers the opportunity to influence design, oversee technical delivery and help lead project teams across a variety of sectors and stages.

The Role

• Lead and oversee projects from concept through to delivery
• Take responsibility for project management, programme and delivery
• Lead and coordinate internal teams and external consultants
• Develop client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Contribute to design development and technical delivery
• Support business development and the growth of the studio
• Mentor and develop more junior members of the team
• Work across a variety of sectors and project stages

About You

• Qualified Architect with substantial UK project experience
• Proven track record of running and leading complex projects
• Strong design, technical and project management skills
• Confident managing clients, consultants and project teams
• Strong Revit experience
• Experience with SketchUp, NBS Chorus or Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous
• Commercially aware, proactive and confident taking ownership
• Strong leadership and communication skills
