Hassell in Sydney seeks an experienced Interior Designer Associate to shape the future of our Interior Design team. You will lead projects, mentor designers and drive growth while balancing client engagement with team development.

You will guide project teams from concept to delivery across workplace, education, health, hospitality and science sectors, and collaborate with Hassell's Australian studios to strengthen studio culture and design excellence.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to help shape the future of our Sydney Interior Design team.

Working closely with the Interior Design Leaders, you'll play a role in leading projects, supporting team development and helping grow our Interior Design capability.

This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys balancing project delivery, people leadership and client engagement. You'll help guide project teams, mentor designers and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Brisbane studio.

As an Associate, you will:

• Lead the delivery of complex interior design projects across workplace, education, health, hospitality and science sectors
• Work closely with the Leadership team to support team leadership, capability building and studio culture
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams from concept through to delivery
• Mentor and develop Interior Designers across different career stages
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Support business development activities and contribute to future project opportunities
• Champion design quality, technical excellence and project performance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Hassell's Australian studios
