Job summary

Windsor Hotel in Dalby is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations across bar, restaurant, and accommodation, working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will mentor and lead a frontline team, manage stock and scheduling within budget, ensure health and safety compliance, and handle guest inquiries to create memorable visits.

Onsite accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in hospitality management.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers License & CLO.
• Positive attitude for a fast-paced, close-knit team environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong communication and ability to handle problems on the spot.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Solid understanding of hospitality regulations and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations across bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
• Inspire and mentor your team to maintain a culture of excellence and customer service.
• Be the point of contact for guest inquiries from check-in to checkout.
• Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance within budget targets.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and regulatory requirements.
