Rustica Highpoint is seeking an experienced Assistant Café Manager / Assistant Venue Manager to support our Venue Manager and help lead our team in a busy café known for specialty coffee and seasonal food.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, assist with rostering, stock, budgets and compliance, recruit and train staff, and step up to run the venue in the Venue Manager's absence, while upholding Rustica's brand standards and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Deep knowledge of hospitality operations and guest experience.

• Experience recruiting, training and mentoring staff.
• Ability to manage rostering, stock, budgets and compliance.

Rustica Highpoint is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Café Manager / Assistant Venue Manager to support our Venue Manager and help lead our team.

We are a busy café known for specialty coffee, fresh seasonal food, and excellent customer service. As Assistant Venue Manager, you will help oversee day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding café experience.

What you'll do:

Support the Venue Manager in managing and leading the café team across front and back of house

Help oversee daily operations to maintain high service and quality standards

Assist with recruiting, training, and developing staff

Assist with rostering, stock control, budgets, and compliance

Work closely with ownership and senior management to achieve business targets

Foster a positive team culture and uphold Rustica's brand standards

Step up and run the venue in the Venue Manager's absence

What we're looking for:

Strong leadership and people management skills
