Job summary

BCF Noarlunga is opening a new Macpac-in-store concept store in Australia and is hiring two Assistant Store Managers. The role requires leading a 30+ team, driving sales, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining safety standards on the floor.

You will open the brand-new store, build a positive culture from day one, and help customers get more from the outdoors while enjoying a strong work-life balance and team discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail management / leadership experience.
• Ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• Strong ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Experience in training, floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, and store security.

Our newest store will feature an innovative Macpac store-in-store concept, creating a unique destination for outdoor lovers unlike anything we've seen before.

We're looking for two Assistant Store Managers from a big box retail environment who thrive on leading large teams, building engagement, championing safety and celebrating success. You'll play a key role in bringing together a team of 30+, leading from the front in a hands‑on role, supporting your team on the floor, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager, your key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have:

• Retail management / leadership experience
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
