General Pants in Tea Tree Plaza, Adelaide, is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to lead the team and bring the GP brand to life on the floor. If you're ambitious, customer-focused, and ready for the next step in retail leadership, this role could be yours.

You'll support the Store Manager with daily operations, drive performance and deliver a standout in-store experience, stepping up when required and fostering a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a retail supervisory or management role with proven sales results.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience with KPIs and store operations.
• Ability to coach and develop team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for delivering a customer-first experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the team to achieve sales targets, KPI goals and wage budgets in line with GP expectations.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience, resolving issues with empathy and care
• Supporting rostering to ensure the right coverage while staying within the store wage budget
• Leading store walkthroughs and VM execution to keep product placement commercial and on-brand
• Stepping up in the Store Manager's absence, including payroll, timecards and full store operations
• Coaching and developing the team, setting the standard for leadership and culture on the floor

About the Role

General Pants is one of Australia and New Zealand's most iconic fashion retailers, and we're looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team and bring the GP brand to life in our Tea Tree Plaza store. If you're ambitious, love being on the floor, and ready for the next step in your retail leadership career, this could be the role for you.

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in leading day-to-day store operations, driving performance, and delivering a strong in-store experience. You'll play a key role in team leadership and step up into higher responsibilities when required.

What You Will Be Doing

• Driving the team to achieve sales targets, KPI goals and wage budgets in line with GP expectations
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience, resolving issues with empathy and care
• Supporting rostering to ensure the right coverage while staying within the store wage budget
• Leading store walkthroughs and VM execution to keep product placement commercial and on-brand
• Stepping up in the Store Manager's absence, including payroll, timecards and full store operations

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year's experience in a retail supervisory or management role with a proven track record of delivering sales results
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting KPIs, wage budgets and store operations
• A proven ability to coach and develop team members in a fast-paced retail environment
• A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional, customer-first experience
