Job summary

General Pants is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Tea Tree Plaza in Adelaide. You will support the Store Manager in delivering a high-energy, customer-first shopping experience and lead daily store operations to meet sales and KPI targets.

You will coach a small team, manage rosters within wage budgets, and step in as acting Store Manager when required, driving VM, payroll and overall store performance with a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting KPIs, wage budgets and store operations.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional, customer-first experience.

About the Role

General Pants is one of Australia and New Zealand's most iconic fashion retailers, and we're looking for an energetic Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team and bring the GP brand to life in our Tea Tree Plaza store. If you're ambitious, love being on the floor, and ready for the next step in your retail leadership career, this could be the role for you.

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in leading day-to-day store operations, driving performance, and delivering a strong in-store experience. You'll play a key role in team leadership and step up into higher responsibilities when required.
