Job summary

Ampol is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to coach retail staff, elevate customer service, and strengthen store operations in Western Australia. You will lead, train, and support a busy team while upholding Ampol standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, safety compliance, and driving store performance. You will work a 7-day roster with potential nights and weekends to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, managing inventory, placing orders, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.
• Drive Performance: Focus on profitability while managing costs, expenses, and waste.
