Job summary

Ampol Kalgoorlie South is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team, drive great customer service, and manage daily store operations in a fast-paced convenience retail setting.

You will coach staff, handle cash and POS tasks, and support opening/closing procedures while ensuring safety and regulatory standards are met. Weekend and overnight availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in customer service excellence and resolve inquiries or complaints.
