Job summary

Repco West Gosford is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and develop the team to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, coach staff, model exceptional service, uphold safety, and handle opening/closing duties. Prior supervisory or retail/trade experience with automotive parts knowledge and a valid driver’s licence is valued.

• Retail or trade sales/wholesale/workshop experience.
• Ideally mechanical/automotive parts knowledge.
• Flexible availability and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy products.

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver's licence
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
