Job summary

Repco Booval in Ipswich is seeking an Assistant Store Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will oversee daily store operations, support a team, and drive exceptional customer service. You will lead and develop staff, share safety leadership, and manage opening/closing duties.

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
