Job summary

Repco Booval is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a 12-month fixed-term role. You will work with the Store Manager to drive store performance, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced automotive parts environment.

You should have supervisory or retail leadership experience, a passion for cars, and the ability to work flexible hours, including opening/closing duties. A valid driver’s license is preferred and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in retail.
• Experience in sales, wholesale, or workshop operations is preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with automotive parts knowledge is a plus.

• Lead store team and daily operations to meet targets.
• Coach and develop team members for performance and growth.
• Deliver genuine customer service and create moments that matter for customers.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver's licence
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
