Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Melbourne to lead daily operations, drive sales, and inspire a team to perform at their best. You’ll support the Store Manager across rostering, reporting, and delivering outstanding customer service in a multi-million-dollar store.

You’ll train and coach staff, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, manage stock and merchandising, and step in to run the store during the manager’s absence. A strong leader with integrity is valued here.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of leaders through training and coaching your team.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and compliant with high standards.
• Manage stock, monitor inventory, and minimise losses.
• Work with the team on registers, restocking shelves and merchandising special buys.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement good ideas.
• Ensure smooth operations when the Store Manager is on leave.
