Job summary

ALDI Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and inspire your team to be their best. You’ll support the Store Manager in all areas of running a multi‑million-dollar business with rostering and reporting, delivering exceptionally efficient service to our customers.

You’ll develop the next generation of leaders by coaching and training your team, uphold high safety and cleanliness standards, manage stock and merchandising, and be ready to cover

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication to inspire teammates and delight customers.
• Ability to motivate, train and encourage the team to perform their best.
• Ability to support the Store Manager to achieve store results.
• Professional and responsible approach to every situation.
• Ability to work independently and enforce ALDI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of leaders by coaching team members.
• Keep the store clean, safe and well presented.
• Manage stock and minimise losses.
• Work with your team on registers, shelving and merchandising.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure store runs smoothly and satisfy customers.
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager's absence.
