Job summary

Autobarn Brisbane is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team and lead from the front in delivering sales success. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive results, coach a customer-focused team and uphold a high standard of store operations.

This hands-on leadership role offers training and development within a trusted automotive retailer, with opportunities to grow across Autobarn’s network and brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role.
• Excellent customer service with proven ability to drive sales and KPIs.
• Ability to coach and motivate a team.
• Experience with inventory, stock management and store operations.
• Experience in retail or automotive industry (advantageous).
• Positive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to keep learning and developing.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, positive and well-run store environment.
• Drive sales by promoting products, upselling, and meeting sales targets.
• Assist customers with automotive parts and accessories advice.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members on the shop floor.
• Assist with inventory, stock control and deliveries.
• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operational leadership.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
