Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager for the Homebush DFO store. You will support the Store Manager to lead a high-performing sales team, grow the business, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will motivate staff, recruit talent, and collaborate with VM to deliver in-store plans. The role involves stock control, merchandising, roster management and strong communication across levels.

Qualifications

• Retail management or similar experience in high-volume, complex environments.
• Genuine love and understanding of the Ralph Lauren brand.
• Proven track record in sales, customer service and performance management.
• Strong merchandising and stock management experience.
• Excellent team player who motivates and mentors the team.
• Confident in autonomous decision-making when required.
• Solid understanding of fashion and retail trends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager to lead the sales team to maximise sales and profit.
• Motivate the team to achieve weekly targets and store standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, management and colleagues.
• Assist with recruitment and selection of talent for the team.
• Collaborate with Brand Image team to identify VM opportunities and deliver plans.
• Drive store operations including visual merchandising, stock control, BOH processes and roster management.
• Demonstrate strong communication and liaise with colleagues at all levels.
• Perform physical tasks as required (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive movements).
