Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a Roma West Assistant Site Manager in Western Australia to work with the Site Manager and a skilled team of Grain Handlers. The role focuses on safe, smooth, and efficient grain receiving, storing, and outloading by road and rail, with broad responsibilities supporting operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day workflow of the team and support to attract, select, train, and develop permanent and casual team members
• Develop and maintain relationships with growers, customers, local community groups and internal stakeholders
• Support the resource planning for grain receival / outload activity during peak and off-peak periods
• Support the planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety and quality activities and related reporting
• Supervise a large seasonal workforce during our busy harvest intake periods, including at multiple sites.

About the role

As our Roma West Assistant Site Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager and a great team of permanent Grain Handlers to help deliver a safe, smooth and efficient service in receiving, storing and outloading grain by both road and rail.

Alongside a variety of hands-on grain handling tasks that keep our operation moving, you will also:

About your experience
