Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a Site Manager for our Euabalong West grain storage and distribution facility. You will lead a team of Grain Handlers to ensure safe receival, storage and outload of commodities, with hands-on leadership and a strong connection to the local community.

Bring operational experience in plant operations, a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to work flexible hours to meet demand. This role offers autonomy, training and a clear path to contribute to Australia’s grain supply

• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team members
• Develop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community
• Coordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services
• Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
• Manage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management

As the Site Manager of our Euabalong West grain storage and distribution facility, you will lead a team of Grain Handlers to ensure the safe, efficient receival, storage, and outload of commodities. This hands-on leadership role offers variety, autonomy, and a strong connection to both the land and local community.

Bring your operational experience, strong leadership capability, and commitment to safety - and play a key role in keeping Australia’s grain supply chain moving.

In this role you will:

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team members
• Get to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processes
• Develop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community
• Coordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services
• Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
• Manage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management

About your experience

You'll succeed in this role if you've had experience in plant operations (ideally the Grain industry) and:

• Experience supervising, supporting and developing workgroups / individuals
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
• Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Current unrestricted driver licence and basic IT literacy
