Job summary

JAPASU by Sang in Zetland is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to step into a supervisor/assistant manager role. You’ll work closely with the owners, lead a busy floor, and influence how guests experience the restaurant.

With a minimum of two years in a similar role in elegant casual or fine dining, you should bring warm, polished service, solid wine knowledge, and a genuine drive to grow with the business. Training and career progression are a priority.

Qualifications

JAPASU by Sang is an independently owned Japanese restaurant in Zetland, built around exceptional food, drinks and genuine hospitality.

We’re looking for someone special to join our team to an experienced hospitality professional who’s ready for more ownership, more opportunity and a place where their contribution genuinely matters.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be asked to run shifts. You’ll work closely with the owners, have a real voice in the business and be trusted to lead, contribute ideas and help us continue to grow.

We’d love to meet you if you :

Naturally take ownership and notice the little things without needing to be asked

Sake knowledge is a bonus, but curiosity is more important to we’ll teach you the rest.
