Job summary

Golden Hotels in Crawley, WA, is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and help lead the front-of-house team in a premium dining environment. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager, General Manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, maintain high standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in premium dining.
• Strong leadership and team management skills in hospitality.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive wine knowledge with confidence in recommending to guests and staff.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and help ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train and support the front-of-house team to maintain high service standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist with resolving customer concerns.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and maintaining beverage and front-of-house supplies.
• Maintain good wine knowledge to support the team and guest experience.
• Support sales performance and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
• Assist with staffing, rostering and service coverage as required.
• Assist with cash handling, daily cash reconciliation and banking in line with company procedures.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, General Manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and strong communication.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, licensing and company policies.
• Handle day-to-day issues and problem-solve during service.
• Support the Restaurant Manager and take responsibility for the restaurant when required.

Located on the edge of the beautiful Matilda Bay in Crawley, our elegant, wood-lined restaurant overlooks the bay with stunning views of Kings Park and Perth City. We serve Modern Australian fish dishes and hearty grills in a workplace where the scenery is as impressive as the dining experience.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant and help lead our front-of-house team. About the Role

You will support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant, helping to maintain high service standards, efficient operations and strong team performance. This is a hands-on role that involves leading the team during service, supporting staff development and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

About You
