Job summary

Trentham Waters Resort Mildura is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Food and Beverage Manager in daily operations. You will lead the floor, motivate staff and ensure guests leave with a smile, balancing service excellence with operational know-how.

This role requires hospitality supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach. Availability to work nights and weekends is essential, along with current RSA certification and a commitment to high standards.

About the role

As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll support the Food and Beverage Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You'll be hands-on — leading the floor, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. You'll balance service excellence with operational know-how, keeping standards high and the energy higher.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire front-of-house and bar staff to deliver outstanding hospitality
• Oversee service across all areas — bar and restaurant
• Support rostering, stock control, and ordering to meet business targets
• Maintain compliance with RSA, OH&S, and venue safety standards
