Job summary

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts – Terrigal NSW is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Meribella, a coastal dining concept. You’ll lead daily service on the floor, set the tone for a polished guest experience and coach a high-performing team to deliver hospitality at its best.

You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure consistency, manage rostering and maintain service standards. RSA certification and a passion for premium dining are essential, with flexibility to work

Qualifications

• 2+ years in assistant manager/supervisory leadership role.
• Premium dining background with service excellence focus.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead a busy service.
• Guest-focused approach with attention to detail.
• Wine knowledge and ability to recommend/sell.
• Positive, organized, hands-on attitude; feet on the floor.
• Rotating roster flexibility including evenings, weekends, public holidays.
• RSA certification as required for the role.

What you'll bring to the floor

Working closely with our Restaurant Manager, you'll help lead daily operations, develop the front-of-house team and ensure every service reflects the quality and personality of Meribella.

You’ll bring:

• At least 2 years' experience in an assistant manager, supervisory or similar leadership role.
• A strong background in premium dining, with a passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a busy service.
• A genuine, guest-focused approach and a keen eye for the little details that make a big difference.
• Wine knowledge and experience with wine recommendations and sales.
• A positive, organised and hands‑on attitude, with the ability to think on your feet.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, as required for the role.
