Job summary

Amida Group in Canberra is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing boutique consultancy delivering Retail, Commercial and Residential projects across Canberra. The role suits someone from a client-side PM or head contractor background with strong communication and a proactive approach.

You will manage design procurement, contracts administration, and regulatory approvals, contribute to project delivery from concept through to completion, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• End-to-end project management experience from concept to completion.
• Experience managing programs, timelines and critical paths.
• Experience on a variety of building projects with commercial fit-out advantages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of design consultants and construction contractors.
• Contracts administration and claims management.
• Management of statutory approvals and design development processes.
• Delivery of project management services to agreed scope, schedule and fee budget.
• Preparing tender submissions.
• Develop and maintain strong network and deliver outstanding services.
