Morson Edge Australia is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a large-scale wind farm project. Based at head office in Melbourne, you will assist the Project Manager across engineering, construction, procurement, commercial and subcontractor activities to deliver the project on time and within budget.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Project Manager with the overall delivery and coordination of the project.

• Assist with subcontractor and stakeholder management.
• Monitor project risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
• Assist with cost control, forecasting and change management.
• Prepare project reports, presentations and progress updates.
• Support contract administration and project documentation.
• Attend project and coordination meetings.
• Track project deliverables, milestones and actions.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a leading Principal Contractor delivering a large-scale wind farm project. Based at head office, you will work closely with the Project Manager, supporting the coordination and delivery of the project across engineering, construction, procurement, commercial and subcontractor activities. This is an initial 12-month casual contract offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience on a major renewable energy project (strong likelihood of contract extension).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with the overall delivery and coordination of the project.
• Support project planning, programming, reporting and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commercial teams.
• Assist with subcontractor and stakeholder management.
• Monitor project risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
• Assist with cost control, forecasting and change management.
• Prepare project reports, presentations and progress updates.
• Support contract administration and project documentation.
• Attend project and coordination meetings.
• Track project deliverables, milestones and actions.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

About You

• Experience working for a Principal Contractor, EPC contractor or major construction organisation.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• An understanding of project programmes, budgets, risk and commercial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• A relevant engineering, construction, project management or related qualification is desirable.
• Experience in renewable energy, wind, utilities, civil construction or major infrastructure would be advantageous.
