Chancellor Park Medical Centre, part of Partnered Health Medical Centres, is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to support the Practice Manager and manage daily clinic operations on a part-time basis on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. The role offers a structured orientation, online compliance training, and a clear progression path to cover Practice Manager duties.

Ideal candidates have prior Assistant Practice Manager or Senior Medical Receptionist experience, at least two years in general

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Practice Manager/Senior Medical Receptionist experience (well regarded).
• Minimum two year of experience in general practice (preferred).
• Previous Medical Receptionist experience (essential).
• Understanding of the general business operations of a medical practice.
• Ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork.
• Exceptional customer service and commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
• Understanding of Work Health & Safety and Privacy.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

You will assist with the delivery of efficient and effective administrative and reception functions, ensure the patient experience is aligned with our values, and step into the Practice Manager role to cover periods of absence. This is an exciting opportunity for a current 2IC or experienced Medical Receptionist looking to take the next step in their career.

Part-Time position, including a dedicated training program upon commencement, that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to ensure your success in the role.
