Endeavour Group's South Tweed Tavern in Tweed Heads, NSW, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead casual dining spaces, Bob's Diner, and a lively Sports Bar. This hands-on role requires supervising a team and delivering great service to locals and visitors.

With base salary of $80,000 plus super and a bonus scheme, you will work under the Publican to keep the pub running safely, with a strong vibe. A current RSA and RCG are required, and some supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• This hands-on role involves lifting and manual handling.
• RSA and RCG certifications are required per state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver great service across the pub, bistro and sports bar.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running safely, smoothly and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while guiding a team of hospitality staff.
• Handle issues before they become problems to maintain operations.
• Bring energy, service and smiles on every shift.

We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the South Tweed Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located right on the NSW/QLD border in Tweed Heads South, the South Tweed Tavern is a warm, welcoming community favorite. We offer a dynamic work environment across our casual dining space, Bob's Diner, a lively Sports Bar with full TAB facilities, and our dedicated function areas. We are seeking friendly, energetic hospitality professionals to deliver classic pub fare and exceptional service to our loyal locals and visitors.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
• You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You've got a current RSA and RCG as per state requirements
