Job summary

ALH Hotels in Queensland is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep our venues buzzing and loved by locals. This hands-on role involves lifting and stock movement, safety compliance, and delivering a great vibe on every shift.

You’ll learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospitality legends, getting to know locals, and stepping up when the boss is away. If you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up.
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away.
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements.

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
