Job summary

Club Turramurra in New South Wales invites a capable all-rounder with strong admin skills and a knack for numbers to support day-to-day operations, payroll, stock control and member services.

The role covers rostering, gaming operations, bar service when required, and ensuring processes stay compliant. Working hours are predominantly Monday–Friday, with some nights and weekends to suit events and functions.

Qualifications

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Experience in stock management, rostering and payroll.
  • Experience with gaming operations, pokie clearance, stocktakes, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day club operations, ongoing maintenance and gaming operations.
  • Develop and maintain Club processes and ensure compliance.
  • Drive Club Membership including processes and benefits.
  • Drive functions bookings, enquiries, and coordination.
  • Prepare and manage staff rosters in line with operational needs and budgets.
  • Manage back of house till systems, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Being Manager on Duty and working behind the bar when required.
  • Process and manage payroll accurately and on time.
  • Complete daily cash reconciliation and end of month reporting.
  • Manage banking, including preparation of deposits and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Organise and participate in monthly stocktakes.
  • Monitor stock levels, investigate variances, and discrepancies.
  • Manage paperwork for new and existing staff including onboarding, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain staff records and ensure all certifications and requirements are current.

Position Summary

We are seeking someone with personality - a strong all rounder with admin skills and a knack for numbers.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Management Support
  • Drive day-to-day club operations, ongoing maintenance and gaming operations

  • Maintain staff records and ensure all certifications and requirements are current
Required
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Diploma of Hospitality
  • Experience with Xero accounting software or similar
  • Experience in stock management, rostering and payroll, ideally within hospitality, clubs, or a similar environment
  • Experience with gaming operations, pokie clearance, stocktakes, and reconciliations highly regarded
  • Strong IT skills including confidence using POS systems, and Microsoft Office

Working Hours

Predominantly Monday – Friday (hours can be flexible). However must be available at times to work nights and weekends.
