Job summary

Anaconda in Grafton is opening a new store and seeks an Assistant Manager who can lead the team and ensure the customer leaves with an exceptional experience. You will coach up to 20 team members, drive service, sales, merchandising and stock management, and take ownership of product management within departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a large-format retail environment.
• Ability to manage up to 20 staff and foster a positive team culture.
• Strong sales awareness and customer service with problem-solving.
• Stock control and merchandising understanding.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading our team and ensuring every customer leaves with the best possible experience.

• Support and lead the team in all aspects of the business
• Lead by example, coaching and developing your team to succeed
• Lead from the front, drive service, sales, merchandising & more!
• Take ownership of product management within each department
• Drive salesto smash budgets and targets- take your store to the next level!
• Ensure our customers receive outstanding service every time

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a leadership role within a large-format retail environment
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of up to 20 team members
• Ability to understand sales trends, top sellers, key performers
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing high stock volume
• Passion for the outdoors (highly desirable!)
• First Aid certified (or willing to be trained at our expense)
• Must have Full-Time availability across late nights and weekends
• Full working rights within Australia
