Job summary

The Joiners Arms Hotel in Hindmarsh, just outside the Adelaide CBD, is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager/Functions. You will work in a busy, friendly team at a modern pub near the Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium, overseeing beverage service and coordinating private functions and events.

RSA certificate and gaming licence are required, as is an RP badge. You should be comfortable with a 7-day roster, weekends and nights, and bring initiative, good presentation and strong teamwork to

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with functions and events planning and execution.
• Oversee beverage service and stock for functions.

About the role

The Joiners Hotel is a modern pub located in Hindmarsh just outside the Adelaide CBD. We are a family run business with a friendly team.

It can be a very busy & fast paced environment at times as we are located near the Entertainment Centre & Coopers Stadium. We average 2-3 functions per week in our Beer Garden plus we host the occasional wedding.

We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Manager/Functions that meets the below criteria:

RSA certificate & gaming required;

RP badge required;

Good knowledge working with functions & generating ideas for future functions & events;

Must be available to work weekends & nights;

Good knowledge of beverage trends;

Must have good initiative;

Enjoy working as part of a team;

Confident in a fast paced environment;

Reliable/punctual;

Presentation and a friendly personality are key!

Mixture of shirts rotating through a 7 day roster with on shift meals provided.
