Job summary

Charterhouse Recruitment (Australia) is assisting a growing specialist accounting firm that supports property investors with compliance, tax advisory, entity structuring and strategic planning. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours and a clear pathway to management.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of property investor clients, prepare and review financial statements and tax returns, provide strategic tax advice, and collaborate with directors on complex advisory work,

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years public practice experience.
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying.
• Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance.
• Enjoys building relationships and working directly with clients.
• Interest in advisory and developing beyond traditional compliance work.
• Ambitious and motivated by career progression.
• Can work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with property investors, trusts or complex entity structures and SMSFs would be advantageous.

With a highly specialised client base and a modern approach to accounting, the firm provides a blend of compliance, tax advisory, entity structuring and strategic planning.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious accountant who wants more than just a traditional compliance-focused role.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Directors, you'll have exposure to a broad range of work and play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Your role will include:

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• 3-5+ years Public practice experience
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
• Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance
• Enjoys building relationships and working directly with clients
• An interest in advisory and developing beyond traditional compliance work
• Ambitious and motivated by career progression
• Can work independently and thrive in a remote environment
• Previous experience with property investors, trusts or complex entity structures and SMSF would be advantageous but is not essential
