Job summary

Enfield Hotel in Clearview, just 20 minutes from Adelaide's CBD, is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the pub buzzing. The base salary is $80,000 plus super, with a bonus scheme and group-wide discounts across Endeavour Group brands.

This hands-on role leads a hospitality team, supports the Publican, and ensures safe, smooth operations with great service. You’ll bring experience from bar, bistro or gaming room, hold RSA/RSG/RP badges, and enjoy ALH/Endeavour discounts and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Hands-on role involving manual handling and lifting (stock, kegs, deliveries).
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room with some supervising.
• RSA, RSG and RP badge as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and build rapport with the community.
• Support the Publican to run the pub smoothly, safely and with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and help set the standard of service.
• Address issues before they escalate to ensure smooth operations.
• Bring energy, service and smiles on every shift.

We're on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Enfield Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located in Clearview, just 20 minutes from Adelaide's CBD, the Enfield Hotel is a long-standing local favorite. Our busy, multifaceted venue features a family-friendly Bistro, a lively Sports Bar, and recently renovated accommodation rooms. Join our team to help deliver great food, cold drinks, and welcoming service to our local community and visiting travelers.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
• You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You've got a current RSA, RSGand RP Badge as per state requirements
