Job summary

Storage King Group in Rozelle/Balmain, Sydney, is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager to support leadership and deliver exceptional service. The role runs 38 hours per week, Tue–Sat, with occasional Sunday shifts, within store hours 8am–5pm; some flexibility required.

You will work with the leadership to drive store results, oversee daily operations, and train staff. A retail or hospitality background, customer focus, and teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Retail, sales or hospitality background preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and undergo training.
• Self-motivated with initiative and accountability.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork focus.
• Physically fit and holds a driving licence.

The Role

We currently have a full-time position available for an Assistant Store Manager to join our teams based in Rozelle & Balmain. Assistant Store Managers are the key support management role in store and work hand in hand with the leadership to deliver exceptional store results and customer service.

Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday – Total 38 hours per week. Occasional Sunday shifts may be offered. We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, Sunday 10am - 4pm. Some flexibility will be required for this role.

About You

• Ideal if you have a retail, sales or hospitality background
• Willingness to learn new skills associated with a sales and customer service role – training is provided
• Self‑motivated and able to work using own initiative or with support and direction
• Enjoy problem solving and taking ownership of tasks
• Passion for delivering customer service excellence, with an above and beyond attitude and work ethic
• Enthusiasm as a team player with a hands on approach to a diverse range of tasks
• Goal orientated and results driven
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Physically fit
• Drivers License
