25–30 hours per week | Grow into a full‑time role
Are you an experienced swim teacher, team leader or customer-focused professional ready to take the next step into management?
We’re looking for a reliable, proactive and people-focused Assistant Manager to help support the day‑to‑day operations of our learn‑to‑swim centre.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, families and a team — and who isn’t afraid to jump in, solve problems and help keep things running smoothly.
The position will initially be 25–30 hours per week, with genuine potential for the right candidate to grow into a full‑time management role with increased responsibility across the day‑to‑day operation of the centre.
Working closely with the Pool Manager, you’ll help oversee the daily operation of the swim school and support both our instructors and families.
Your responsibilities will include:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Previous experience in swim teaching, aquatic supervision, team leadership, education, childcare, sport or customer service would be highly regarded.
Management experience is helpful, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
Our program is designed around small, focused classes, with a maximum of three students per class and only two classes operating in the pool at one time.
Our 20‑minute lessons allow instructors to provide individual attention while keeping children actively engaged and progressing.
We teach children from babies through to stroke development, with a strong focus on water confidence, survival skills, technique and building capable swimmers.
This is not a role where you simply stand back and supervise.
We’re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the operation, understands that consistency matters, and takes pride in helping create a swim school families and staff enjoy being part of.
