Job summary

360HR Solutions in Unanderra, NSW, seeks an Assistant Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting and cost analysis under the Finance Manager's guidance.

This role offers early-career accountants a structured development path in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to inventory and cost reporting and opportunities to contribute to month-end processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related discipline completed or underway.
• Basic understanding of journals, accruals, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Interest in management accounting and manufacturing costs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
• Prepare general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
• Assist with inventory, manufacturing cost and cost-centre reporting.
• Contribute to annual budgets and periodic forecasts with supporting analysis.
• Prepare schedules and reconciliations to support tax compliance and year-end reporting.
