Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking a Management Accountant to join our NSW team and contribute strong accounting fundamentals, reliable financial reporting, and confidence to work across a growing project-based operation.

Working closely with the CFO, you will turn accounting knowledge into meaningful commercial experience across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management and finance systems, in a role suited to professionals seeking broader responsibility within an established

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards qualification.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Experience in management reporting, budgeting or financial forecasting.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Open to transitioning from Big4 or mid-tier auditor/Business Services.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end accounting procedures, reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and overhead planning.
• Monitor daily cash movements and contribute to cash flow forecasting.
• Analyse financial information and prepare reports for management.
• Provide accurate financial information to support commercial decision-making.
