Job summary

Buderim Private Hospital, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking an Assistant in Nursing for casual pool coverage on the Sunshine Coast. The role involves supporting clinical staff and delivering patient-centred care in a busy hospital environment.

Pay is $33.31–$36.81 per hour plus casual loading, super and NFP salary packaging. The hospital supports flexible rosters, vaccination programs, and comprehensive staff benefits to help you grow and feel valued.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent nursing study (1st year)
  • Ability to work a flexible rotating roster
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
  • Minimum 12 months' experience in an acute/hospital setting
  • Willingness to obtain vaccinations and pass national criminal history check and functional assessment

Assistant in Nursing - Casual Pool | Buderim Hospital

Employment Term: Casual Position Available Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD Remuneration: $33.31 - $36.81 p/hr + Casual Loading + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay) Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and therefore may result in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team. You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care within your scope of practice to individuals and their families, supporting clinical staff as directed to achieve an environment for optimal patient outcomes. You'll complete a range of non-clinical support tasks, providing support to the Specialists and Clinical Staff, delivering an exceptional patient-centred experience by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team.
