Job summary

Buderim Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the Casual Pool and deliver safe, holistic nursing care under supervision. You will contribute to high-quality patient outcomes and work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Must hold Diploma of Nursing with AHPRA registration and have at least 12 months post-graduate experience in ICU/CCU, rehabilitation, acute medical or surgical settings. A 24/7 roster and infection control compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing with AHPRA registration; 12 months post‑grad in ICU/CCU, rehab, acute medical or surgical.
• Full Australian Working Rights; sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster and follow WHS practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Apply sound clinical practice to ensure a safe environment and patient health.
• Exchange information with the Registered Nurse about patient responses to treatment and nursing care.

Employment Term: Casual Opportunities Available

Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast

Remuneration: $36.56 - $40.93 per hour + Casual Loading + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

As part of our Casual Pool, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to deliver safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. In addition to this you will:

• Deliver exceptional person‑centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills


• Apply sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health


• Effectively exchange information with the Registered Nurse regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care


• Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management


• Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care

What makes a difference for us?

• Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 12 months past‑graduate experience within either Critical Care/Intensive Care, Rehabilitation, Acute Medical or Surgical

• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices.


• A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment


• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital's infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
