Job summary

Contract Care in Canberra is seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to support aged care facilities across Canberra, Yass and surrounds. You'll choose shifts that suit you and be paid well for your work, with a dedicated consultant available when you need one.

Requirements include Certificate III in Individual Support, at least 6 months aged care experience, medication competency, police check, First Aid/CPR, vaccinations, right to work in Australia, and reliable transport to travel

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months' paid Australian aged care experience as an AIN or PCA.
• Medication competency certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current National Police Check (or NDIS Worker Screening Check).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccinations.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Reliable transport and the ability to travel across Canberra, Yass & Surrounds.

About the role

Contract Care is looking for experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs) - also known as Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) outside NSW - to join our aged care agency workforce across Canberra, Yass and surrounds. We partner with multiple residential aged care facilities right across the city, and we match you with facilities that suit your location and availability so you're not crossing town for every shift.

You’ll pick the shifts that work for you, get paid well for them, and have a real consultant on the other end of the phone when you need one.

Pay & shifts

• Agency pay rates: $45.75-$101.13 per hour
• AM, PM and night shifts available
• Weekday and weekend shifts across multiple partnered aged care facilities
• Choose your own availability - work as much or as little as suits you
