About the role

Applications are invited from Assistants in Nursing with Hospital experience to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our OPMH patients. These casual opportunities will be in our Older Persons Mental Health ward located at Macquarie Hospital in North Ryde. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities. HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised.

About you

• At least one year's relevant hospital experience, or a second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with at least one Clinical Placement and a desire to work in a OPMH ward.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
• Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
